The idea

A full maths curriculum for grades one to eight — 1,668 worksheets with answer keys — plus the record-keeping kit a homeschooling parent actually has to produce.

I have two children and could not find material that neither talked down to them nor buried them in joyless drilling. The second problem was worse: homeschooling parents are asked for attendance, hours and a transcript, and there is almost nothing decent for producing those.

How we are building it

Diagram-heavy and answer-key complete, because the parent teaching it is usually not a maths teacher and the answer key is what makes the material usable at all. The record-keeping side exists because that is the part parents are actually anxious about.

• Full-syllabus maths workbooks for every grade from one to eight
• 1,668 worksheets in the complete bundle, every one with an answer key
• Grade bundles and a middle-school set, for buying a stage rather than a year
• Sixty-page printable practice packs per grade for lighter practice
• A portfolio record-keeping kit — attendance, hours and transcript
• A transcript template with course descriptions and a school profile, for college applications
• A narration guide of 88 living-books prompts
